No guarantee of rankings, traffic, or revenue
SEOPals does not guarantee any specific ranking position, traffic volume, number of inquiries, or revenue outcome. We cannot, and no agency honestly can. Search results are produced by systems owned and continually changed by Google and other providers; no external party controls them, and anyone who tells you they have a relationship or a mechanism that does is describing something that does not exist.
Why outcomes vary so much between firms
Two architecture practices running identical scopes can land in very different places, and the variables are mostly outside the optimization work itself. Domain age and existing authority set the starting line. A firm in a dense metro competing against twenty established studios faces a different curve than one in a regional market with four. Site platform matters enormously in this vertical — a custom builder loaded with uncompressed renders takes months of technical remediation before content work even has a surface to stand on. And the client's own responsiveness on approvals, project photography, and factual review determines publishing velocity more than anything we control.
Beyond that: budget level, whether the firm has historical penalty exposure from a previous agency's link buying, seasonality in the design and construction cycle, and broader construction market conditions all move results. This is why we scope from an audit rather than a price sheet.
Typical timelines
Most engagements show measurable movement in impressions and non-branded rankings within roughly 90 to 120 days. Competitive regional and project-type terms commonly take six months or longer of sustained technical, content, and authority work. These are observed ranges from our practice, not commitments, and a specific firm may fall outside them in either direction. Any timeline we give in a proposal is an estimate based on the audit findings for that site.
How the statistics on this site are calculated
Figures presented on our marketing pages are aggregates across our client portfolio, not the result for any single firm and not a projection for yours. Traffic and ranking gains are measured against each client's own baseline at engagement start, across the period that client has been active — which means an average necessarily blends firms at very different stages, in very different markets, on very different budgets. An average is a description of a portfolio, not a promise to an individual.
We will send the underlying methodology and definitions for any figure on this site to anyone who asks. Email info@seopals.com and name the number you want explained. If we cannot substantiate a figure, we remove it from the site rather than defend it.
Results shown are not typical and not predictive
Where we describe outcomes for a specific firm, those outcomes reflect that firm's market, starting position, budget, and timeline. They are examples of what has happened, not a prediction of what will happen for you. Past performance in search is a weaker predictor than in most disciplines, because the ranking systems themselves change substantially from year to year.
Not professional advice
Content published on this site — including guidance on Core Web Vitals, site architecture, local visibility, and content strategy — is general information for architecture and design firms. It is not legal, financial, or professional advice specific to your practice, and it does not create a client relationship. Decisions about your website, your marketing budget, or your business should be made with advisors who know your situation.
